FAMILY AND CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY IN CONTEMPORARY: the place of the family in mental health policy

This project is the subject of research in family drug treatment within institutions devoted to treatment of the disease, marking the family's place in mental health policy. It aims to analyze the family in drug treatment within public institutions of mental health in the city of Nata / RN, marking its place in mental health policy through the visibility of the role and challenges of families in the treatment process. Analyses of this research will be developed in light of the critical dialectical method, from successive actual approaches in trying to contemplate the various aspects (objective and subjective) that involve the object of study. Such research is configured as a quantitative and qualitative research, it proposes the joint and assessment by the researcher of quantitative and qualitative data. The techniques to be used are listed in the application of semi-structured interviews and the instruments will be forms with open and closed questions. The analysis of all the material collected during the development of the research will be done by content analysis technique and devolutiva research to participating institutions will be made by the final report, where all the subjects (including family members) will have access.
