This research concerns the application of the fundamentals of information management to develop and propose a self-service service aimed at promoting the health and safety of public agents with the same level of attention and quality of service in a scenario in which UFRN employees cohabit , subject to Law No. 8,112, of December 11, 1990 (legal regime for civil servants of the Union, local authorities and federal public foundations) and employees of EBSERH, linked to the legal regime provided for in Decree-Law No. 5,452, of 1 of May 1943 (Consolidation of Labor Laws - CLT), on the premises of the Onofre Lopes University Hospital (Natal/RN). Due to the legal disputes involved in the case under study, it is emphasized that the prevention of work accidents and occupational diseases, as it involves the preservation of people's physical and mental health, especially sharing the same premises, should not occur in a different way in relation to individuals. In view of this, the main objective is to investigate the paths to be taken to propose an informational support service in order to assist UFRN employees in the process of searching for information on occupational accidents, aiming at promoting and preserving the health of these workers. public. The methodological trajectory will involve an inductive approach, through case studies based on documentary techniques, questionnaires and interviews. It is believed that, in the end, with the processes and flows duly mapped and convergent, free of barriers, consolidated through a self-service service, it will be possible to promote equal treatment to UFRN employees with regard to the promotion of occupational health.
