This study explores the importance of efficient management and information flow modeling within the Metrology Laboratory (LabMetrol) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The laboratory plays an essential role in providing metrology services to various institutions and companies, meeting crucial demands for quality and precision that are fundamental for local and regional development. The primary objective of this research is to identify and address failures in LabMetrol’s information flow, aiming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its service delivery processes. Specific objectives include mapping the complete flow of information, analyzing customer satisfaction, and producing a technical report that documents and organizes the entire process. To achieve these goals, the study adopts a case study methodology, combining documentary analysis and customer surveys. The expected outcomes include establishing a more streamlined and integrated communication system, which will support the agility and quality of services provided. Consequently, LabMetrol will not only improve its competitiveness but also strengthen its reliability in the region.
