PRACTICES AND TOOLS OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY AT CASA DE APOIO À CRIANÇA COM CÂNCER DURVAL PAIVA

Through knowledge mobilization, organizations can increase their earnings, understand social problems for which there is no clear solution, and meet the needs of vulnerable individuals. Mobilization guided by Knowledge Management (KM). Therefore, this study aims to identify KM practices experienced by Managers and employees of Casa Durval Paiva, aiming to propose a portfolio with knowledge management practices and tools. Specifically, it proposes to analyze Managers' and employees' understanding of KM; describe KM practices experienced throughout their work activities; and verify the formality level of KM practices experienced by the subjects. It is a quantitative-qualitative research, of a social nature, and characterized as a Case Study; as well as, the portfolio of practices and tools will be proposed based on the Structuralist Method, considering the study by Batista and Quandt (2015) to categorize data according to their three typologies. Data will be collected through questionnaires, applied to the institution's employees, and analyzed using descriptive statistics; and, through interviews, with the OSC managers, subjected to Bardin's Content Analysis (2016), with the support of the ATLAS.ti software to apply Batista and Quandt's (2015) categories. It is expected, as a result of this study, to contribute to knowledge management at Casa Durval Paiva and to support the formalization of practices and tools that ensure the acquisition, use, and dissemination of knowledge among all institution stakeholders.
