SUMMARY:

This master’s thesis aims to carry out a study of information users based on theoretical bases present in the concept of informational practices, taking into account the understanding that any human practices are based on language, apprehended in the context of the social dynamics under which are forged as a consequence of these language interactions, according to the perspective of social constructionism. It is characterized as a qualitative and descriptive research, in which the Case Study technique is applied, supported by participant observation instruments, capture of photographic, videographic, and textual records and statistical data collection. The empirical field is limited to the Evaluation Reports of the Trilhas Potiguar Program, considering the so-called “digital natives” as the main agents of production, use and sharing of information, today, so present in the physical and non-physical spaces of our institution. Our objective was to analyze the aspects related to the informational practices of this public, trying to translate through graphic elements, the actions of the information users in line with the socio-constructivist approach. The investigation results were analyzed from the comparative analysis between reports produced in previous years and all the content collected in the 2022 edition of the PTP. As a result, we point to the need to redesign the current yearbook project, aligning supply and demand for information compiled in a digital publication that can be easily shared among peers.
