Graduate studies in Brazil play a fundamental role in scientific and technological production and development, in addition to providing a technical-scientific basis for the creation of products that aim strategic problems in public and private institutions. In this context, a professional master's degree is a postgraduate level that offers professionals the necessary qualifications for the improvement of their competences, not only on academic level but also in na empiric environmente. Thus, students in tjis realm, seek to solve a issues observed in their field of activity and receive guidance to develop a technical products that potenctially contribute improve and bring innovation in the field. This research is focused on the technical interventions proposed by the graduates between 2017 and 2019 of the Professional Master's Program in Information and Knowledge Management at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The study aims to carry out a diagnosis and mapping of these productions in order to produce a cartography of the field and identify the characteristics, application contexts, thematic áreas as well as possible barriers in their implementation in relation to the aforementioned products/intervention proposals, among other aspects. The methodology used in terms of nature is qualitative and quantitative, being exploratory-descriptive according to the objectives. As for technical procedures, it is a case study with the use of direct and indirect documentation. Thus, it will consider extensive direct observation technique as a questionnaire will be used as a data collection instrument and in interviews to be applied to program graduates in the aforementioned time frame. Results will be interpreted based on the content analysis technique. The analysis of the cartography of these will serve as a subsidy for the decision making process of the referred program and institution involved and of potential interest for programs with similar profiles and objectives.
