This research aims to understand how the formation of subjectivities happens through scenic spectacles in the school space of IFRN and the extent to which students have agencies in these subjectivation processes. The subjects in question are understood as constituted in their relationships, practices, and experiences, which can be signified, transformed, and interpreted from artistic performances. We treat the school as an institution of the State, elementary in the project of formation of subjects of the Nation-State, which is an abstraction, an effect, that is built from everyday practices, but also through cultural performances. Students are agents who develop their practices and elaborate subjectivities amid disputes of narratives and Nation projects, bringing echoes of confrontations that stand out on the national scene, but also articulating their experiences from family experiences, social movements, and other groups in the local community. Thus, we focus on the process of producing and presenting scenic spectacles within the sphere of the IFRN, through ethnographic observation of intercampi cultural events, interviews, and documentary analysis, deepened through the interaction with students of the NUARTE of the campus Mossoró. The first analyzes show the themes of gender violence, sexuality, mental health, beauty standards, racism, and social inequality as the main issues addressed by students in their artistic performances, weaving a narrative based on the idea of resistance.
