INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION IN THE QUALIFICATION OF INTEGRATED HEALTH SURVEILLANCE ACTIONS IN PRIMARY CARE

Interprofessional Health Education - EIP as a necessary approach to qualify integrated health surveillance actions in primary care. The study aims to systematize a professional qualification strategy in health surveillance based on the theoretical-conceptual and methodological frameworks of interprofessional education. This is a descriptive action research with a qualitative approach. The research was carried out in four stages in the scenarios of primary health care in a municipality where health management is located in the upper sertão of Paraíba, and the last one consists of the systematization of a professional qualification strategy. The data collected came from the application of a semi-structured interview, focus groups and the SOCKS technique involving professionals linked to health surveillance and primary care. And analyzed through Categorical Thematic Content Analysis proposed by Bardin. After treatment and analysis of the speeches produced in the semi-structured interviews, four thematic units emerged by analysis categories: “Character of health surveillance actions”; “Necessary skills for interprofessional work in health surveillance”; “Interdependence between professional practices in health surveillance actions and “Challenges in interprofessional collaboration in health surveillance”. From the thematic units, subcategories emerged.
