SUMMARY:

Immunization is one of the pillars of public health, being essential for disease prevention and reduction of morbidity and mortality. In Brazil, the National Immunization Program (PNI) plays a fundamental role in this process, but faces challenges such as low vaccination coverage, misinformation and difficulties in data management. In this context, digital transformation in health emerges as a strategy to improve the effectiveness of vaccination campaigns. This dissertation analyzes the RN+Vacina platform as a digital health tool in the vaccination process of Rio Grande do Norte, investigating its contribution to the PNI and its influence on vaccination coverage. The study's general objective is to evaluate the use of RN+Vacina as an instrument to induce public immunization policy in the state. Specifically, it seeks to understand the adhesion of municipalities to the platform, its contribution to campaign planning, its comparison with other national platforms and the impacts on vaccination coverage. The methodology adopted combines systematic literature review, action research and document analysis. The systematic review allowed us to identify digital health strategies applied to immunization in other countries. The action research will analyze the implementation of RN+Vacina in 34 municipalities in Rio Grande do Norte from 2023 onwards, while the documentary analysis will analyze vaccination coverage data before and after the adoption of the platform.
