Desempenho de novas formas de onda para canais submarinos
Performance Evaluation of new waveforms for underwater submarine channels
This master’s degree working plan aims to perform a study on the performance of modulation and multiplexing techniques over submarine acoustic channel. Initially, what is underwater communication and its existing forms of communication is introduced. Next, the main fading effects that a submarine channel is subject to and their respective formulations are presented, as well as the main set of algorithms well accepted by the academy, Bellhop. In the following session, the techniques that will be analyzed and those that will be proposed such as FSK, OFDM and GFDM are presented. In addition, the proposal of this work and a state of the art on the theme are shown. As a practical elucidation, preliminary performance analyzes are developed for different configurations and systems already implemented, the performance is accessed through BER vs. Eb / N0 curves. Finally, we present the productions from this work and its perspectives, as well as schedule of activities for the final work.
