PROTOTYPE FOR THE EVALUATION OF FLOW MEASUREMENT METHODOLOGIES FROM THERMAL PROFILE IN WATER WELLS INJECTORS
Well injection; Thermal Profile; Temperature; Flow
This work aims at developing an instrumented prototype, in small-scale, for the validation of the estimated flow calculations from the thermal profile versus depth in water injection wells in oil production fields. The proposed prototype seeks to simulate two injection zones, which imply in two section to analyze the calculation methods. The first section, which extends from the earth surface until first injection zone, will allow the validation of measurement methodologies, especially the developed by Ramey, Jr. 1962. The second section, between the first and second zone, will allow the generalization and validation of codes to be developed.
