Musicalization in Educational Robotics
Educational robotics, Musicalization in robotics, Brazil's National Common Curricular Base
With the continuous advancement of educational robotics, several projects have been developed with the aim of promoting active and interdisciplinary learning among students and professionals in the field. Although numerous educational robotics kits are commercially available worldwide, few significantly explore integration with music. In this context, musicalization remains an underexplored area, lacking studies that investigate its effects and potential in the teaching and learning process. This study proposes the use of musicalization as a pedagogical resource integrated into educational robotics projects, with a focus on the "EcoMusic" project. Developed based on the skills described in the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) for early childhood, elementary and secondary education, EcoMusic uses electronic components and recyclable materials, promoting interdisciplinarity between music, programming, electronics, and mechanics, the fundamental pillars of educational robotics. Its classroom application also aims to foster the development of students' cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal skills, encouraging creativity, logical thinking, teamwork, and environmental awareness.
