SUMMARY:

Proteogenomics is the area that houses the middle between genomics and proteomics. Comparative studies of microorganisms can determine structural and compositional changes through targeted analysis of their compounds. The bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis mainly causes the pathology called pulmonary tuberculosis and remains one of the most clinically relevant microorganisms in the study of new treatments against the disease. In addition, there are several studies in the field of bioinformatics that seek genetic and protein changes that enable the understanding of virulence and drug resistance factors. Therefore, the objective of this work is to perform a meta-analysis of spectrometry data from twenty samples from different laboratories, in which another comparative strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis of the H37Rv strain with strains will be analyzed. Therefore, such methodology will be based on approaches in silico, especially with the MaxQuant software and a use of a specific database of the bacterium of interest. From the study, it is expected to perform a quantification of the identified proteins and create a unique group of proteins and samples to validate data from all selected proteomes.
