DIGIPROF: AN INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PROPOSAL AS A TOOL FOR MANAGING ADAPTIVE LEARNING
Adaptative learning, Instructional design, Learning trial, Personalization.
The Information Age is also the age of personalization, and schools cannot be apathetic to this phenomenon. The COVID-19 pandemic has opened the “curtains” and exposed the backstage of an educational system that has long been failing to achieve satisfactory results, especially in the areas of Portuguese and mathematics, which are fundamental to the formative process. Thus, the DIGIprof tool presents itself as a methodological alternative, based on instructional design, for the management of personalized learning. It uses techniques from educational data science with the aim of reexamining the function of different evaluation models and the data generated by them. It proposes that students, in addition to accessing this data, can follow a path of learning reconstruction, mediated by technology, with different learning media and various evaluation methods. This aims to provide greater autonomy for students and clarity in the data that will guide teaching action.
