The beef cattle breeding chain in Brazil has high production technology. The carcases may be sold in whole, cut or processed pieces, which are fresh or chilled. In Brazil supermarkets are the main distributors of meats to consumers, as a consequence, they are also the regulators of the price of the product. Meat houses and butcher are gradually emerging as alternatives to the markets, since the consumption of the product has remained stable in recent years. In addition, the meats market presents new trends, where the consumer focuses not only on the purchase of the product, but also on the experience provided by it. However, the investment for these marketplaces are high, and this value is passed on to the final costumer. E-commerce is an alternative for the sale of high quality meats, because it’s possible to reduce the investment in physical space and in fixed costs, offering to the final consumer a product with in quality and competitive price, as well as the experience of a purchase idealized only for him and his need. The startup FURNAS Top Carnes has entered the market with the aim of providing fresh or frozen meat products of different quality and competitive price. In order to analyze the economic viability of the startup were considered, the main commercial cuts and the average weight of the animal in 180kg. It was possible to estimate that in less than a year it will be possible to pay the investments made, since the company presented good performance in its commercialization. Growth weaknesses have also been identified to meet market demand, being necessary to work better with the stakeholders chain.
