Contributions of ICTs to the production of comics at School

This qualification document is the result of an analysis of practical actions carried out in a comics workshop with students in the 7th year of Elementary School I at Escola Municipal Professor Amadeu Araújo digital and bibliographical research based on studies on Technologies oriented towards the production of comics at Schools. The research provides a brief introduction to the trajectory of printed and digital comics throughout history, culminating in a detailed survey of students' interaction with ICTs as a means of producing comics in the educational environment. The project's research and practice is based on dialogue with the following researchers: Luyten (1985), Barbosa (1998), Eisner (2005), Moran (2006), Patati and Braga (2006), McCLOUD (2005), Veronezi (2010 ) Franco (2013), Magalhães (2016), Vergueiro (2021) among others. The investigation focuses on the use of information and communication technology that is present in students' daily lives but is little known as a means of producing comics at school.
