SUMMARY:

This work addresses the analogous relationship of the artist who is an art teacher, when dealing with the identity of this professional, when he works between the stages and/or in the classroom, based on the theme “A metamorphosis: the artist-teacher, between common places and different places”, the peculiar characteristics and the dialogue involved in the process are approached. This problem consists in understanding: To what extent does artistic work transform the classroom space, promoting a meeting of values and references in the contribution of teaching-learning? And, on the other hand, how does the role of teaching affect, change and contribute to the artist's career and work? This questioning is necessary, due to the fact of a persistent diffusion, in view of the discussions related to artistic practice and teaching in Art. The purpose of this study is to exhort the possibilities of perception through art, in line with the various areas of knowledge that link practice and theory, artistic-aesthetic experiences to a didactic-pedagogical proposal. An analysis of making art in the classroom was promoted, as well as the attitude of the artist who is in a pedagogical situation and the difficulties encountered in educational institutions. For that, the opinions transcribed through a questionnaire with experience reports were taken into account, it is a collection of data between artists and art teachers, in addition to having a bibliographic study for better elaboration and reflection on the optics of cognitive, aesthetic and didactic skills. The research data are being archived in the hope that the results will corroborate with the promotion of an analysis capable of clarification about the artist-teacher and the art teacher.
