MUSIC TEACHING AND INTERDISCIPLINARITY: the interface of the arts in everyday school life, a possible dialogue.
Music; Teaching; Interdisciplinarity; Creativity; John Paynter.
The present work proposes to demonstrate the importance of art
and its interfaces, in the school routine, providing a dialogue through the teaching and
learning of music. Such a proposal can promote interdisciplinarity through artistic
productions during the creation process, improvisation and artistic discoveries, thus
favoring development at an individual and collective level. Inspired by the thinking of
John Paynter, with an emphasis on creativity, the teaching experience is inserted in a
complex universe, envisioned by Carl Rogers and Edgar Morin, to the constant
reconstruction and articulation of knowledge. It is in this context that we have promoted
activities that seek to involve and make the process of artistic creation more dynamic
and innovative through the construction of parodies and poems set to Rap music.
