Audiovisual production in Visual Arts teaching
Education; teaching of visual arts; audiovisual production.
The theme of this research is the audiovisual production in the teaching of Visual Arts, having the study of audiovisual and its use in the teaching of Visual Arts in a school setting as its object of analysis. The study carried out at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte, in a countryside town called Apodi (IFRN/Apodi), aims to bring the audiovisual production into the formal context of teaching, in order to work with contents of the Visual Arts teaching itself. Based on the reading of images in the teaching of arts according to Barbosa (2014), Pillar (1999), Ostrower (2013) and reflections about the use of the audiovisual as a pedagogical resource, considering the works of Berle (2021), Ferreira (2010), Kielt (2020), Moraes (2021) and Vilaça (2013), it is possible to say that this is an action research that dialogues with authors who discuss cinema in education, such as Bergala (2008) and Fresquet (2017). Although the pedagogic proposal that will be elaborated at the end of this research is still starting to be built, the initial impressions show us that the knowledge process of Arts students happens more effectively when the reading, contextualizing and doing triad is used, aggregating, by the end of process of creation of the students, transformations in the scope of self-worth and, finally, acknowledgement as critical subjects, producers and diffusers of their own individual cultures with their audiovisual productions.
