Pedagogical practices in the field of visual arts in search of the creative moment during classes through drawing were the motivation for the research questions. They are: How to achieve the silence that is not asked for? Would there be the possibility of developing the creative moment on the school floor? Do formative conceptions underlie pedagogical practice for poetic processes? General objective: to analyze pedagogical practices in the area of visual arts that promote the moments of creation, the expressive potential of the line in the design of E.E. teacher Ivani Machado Bezerra with the group belonging to the age group between 15 and 18 years and that culminates in a pedagogical proposal for high school. Specific: Conduct a survey through oral, written and imagery testimonies about their students' aesthetic experiences, weaving relationships with the nature of the creative moment in art classes; Discuss the function of the line in the artworks during the readings of the images; Present exercises that facilitate the release of the line in the visual compositions of the students; Show the set of works on the line in the visual compositions produced by the students; Compose a pedagogical proposal for secondary education in visual arts that contemplates the relevance of drawing for the freedom of creation. The research is part of the qualitative type, as it is also an action research. It is justified by the need to promote the making of art at school. The locus was the Escola Estadual Professora Ivani Machado Bezerra with a group of young students aged between 15 and 18 who were in the first year of high school. The theoreticalmethodological bias that underlies the investigation through the lines of thought of the authors Cecília Almeida Salles (2011), Fayga Ostrower (2013), Mirian Celestes Martins (1998), Ana Mae Barbosa (2010), John Dewey (2010), Jorge Larrosa (2021), Edith Derdyk (2020). As well as the poetics of the artists Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. The text is structured by initial considerations followed by four chapters entitled: In search of the silence that is not asked for; Theoretical Framework: warp that interconnects and sustains the research plots; Methodology: intertwining creation processes; when weaving poetic ideas and final considerations. Data collection was obtained through feedback from activities focusing on aesthetic experiences sent during the elaboration of the pedagogical proposal in the arts.
