Music in the Basic School: experiences of appreciating, performing and creating in the Musicalization Workshop through the recorder with elementary school students in time of physical distance

The present work refers to a research on the experiences of appreciating, performing and creating in the Musicalization Workshop with the Recorder at Escola Municipal Professor Arnaldo Monteiro Bezerra in Natal/RN. The general objective is to expose, reflect, analyze and discuss the experiences related to musical learning, intending to develop an evaluative investigation of the benefits of music in Basic Education. The lived experiences and the activities developed were carried out in Elementary School Early Years, permeated by the qualitative approach, using the records of classes through images, writings and filming, as well as interviews with students and testimony from family members, teachers and management team. This experience should offer discussions that encourage the teaching of music in the Basic School, pointing out possible paths in the teaching and learning relationships.
