SUMMARY:

This research aims to analyze and seek answers about the teaching of music through musical rhythmic education, based on the precepts of Émile Jaques Dalcroze (1865-1950), as a path, this research will have a theoretical part and a practical part, and we will start the from readings and records, with a focus on bibliographic research, so that we can deepen our theoretical knowledge. In a second step, we will debug the results to reach the culmination of this study, which will be the application of the Dalcroze methodology principles in the classroom. The second moment of this research will be the practical part, it will be carried out in a class of the seventh year of elementary school, at Escola Estadual João Ferreira de Souza, located in the city of Santa Cruz/RN. At the opportunity, students will experience playful activities with the experimentation of the precepts of the Dalcrozean methodology, the main purpose is to promote a better perception, and development in the teaching and learning process in the discipline of arts / music, during practical interventions in the classroom we will use Afro-Amerindian melodies and rhythms of a folk group from Boi de Reis of the community, with the intention of bringing the educational experience closer to the community that surrounds the school, and finally we will present the results obtained in this study in the form of a pedagogical proposal and scientific article .
