SUMMARY:

The challenges of making the classroom an attractive place for students have
intensified, especially in this era of democratization of the internet and digital
media devices. Teaches, if they wish to gain the attention of their students in
explaining the contente, need to adapt to the reality that presentes itself,
proposing more dynamics classes, which run away from the traditional way of
teaching. The Art discipline points to a vast potential to be explored, since it
dialogues closely with the other disciplines and allows the appropriation of new
media for use in the classroom. In this perspective, we seek to answer the
following question: how can we use new digital Technologies in the classes of
the Art componente, in order to bring the curriculum contente closer to the
students` daily lives? Starting from this methodological conception, we believe
that students can have a satisfactory learning in Art, taking advantage of the
new Technologies that are around them, and that are still little explored by
educators. The development of this study is based on the experience proposed
from audiovisual production within the scope of Arts classes in the 1st years of
High School, from E.E.M. Prefeito Antônio Conserva Feitosa, in Juazeiro do
Norte-CE. This work aims to analyze and reflect arttistic experiences with the
use of TDICs (smartphones) in the locus of basic education. The method that
supports the research of this dissertation is the Research-Action, which guided
the whole process necessary for the construction of the knowledge discussed
here. In this type of research, according to Thiollent (2007), it is intended to
propose a study linked to na action or the search for a solution to a collective
problem. It is na empirical social research, in which researchers and
participating subjects representative of the situation act in a cooperative or
participatory way in order to solive a problem.
