SUMMARY:

This paper reports how the game can contribute to the improvement of the teaching of drawing in art classes from three experiences of creating a board game. The proposal was carried out at three public schools in the city of Natal-RN, from August 2018 to October 2019. The article starts from the concept of game and also discusses the role of drawing in the development of a visual arts teaching project. In the construction of the game was made an affective cartography through drawings produced by the students and the planning of its rules and gameplay. The drawings sought to perform image readings, that is, to observe and reflect with the students about the images built by them and how they reflect their identities, their likes, their values and their affection towards some places. We saw how in the same map, images of churches, bars, cabarets, candomblé terreiro, smoking places and leisure areas coexist, reflecting a diversity present in the daily lives of our students, reflecting the life of people who seek a chance at school. insert into society, now with a broader knowledge of the world.
