SUMMARY:

To address about Art today in the school context goes beyond a historical and cultural knowledge, it is about proposing to the student to know a world full of information, relating and bringing this experience closer to their reality of life or social context. About  this discussion, we start from the following question: Is it possible to create paths within the Elective Discipline and the activities that have been developed in it, based on the KlaussVianna Technique (KVT) in High School? Thus, the ongoing research proposes a dialogue about my experience as a teacher in Centro Estadual de EducaçãoProfissional (CEEP) Dr. Ruy Pereira dos Santos, located in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Rio Grande do Norte (RN), with interfaces in the KlaussVianna Technique (KVT), where research aims to identify methodological methods for teaching dance at school, based on the KlaussVianna Technique. We use the bibliographic methodology, in which we approach some subjects about the teaching of Art in the light of Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC, 2018), and research action of a qualitative nature of observation. We had as theoretical reference in the field of dance teaching at Isabel Marques School (2001) and as methodological method or understanding of the body controlled by KlaussVianna (2005), and for systematization and application of the technique KlaussVianna by Ms. Jussara Miller (2007). To conduct this research, as dance classes were distributed in the Elective Discipline, which is inserted in the Articulating Axis of the Curriculum at the Full Time School, which is based on the Modelo Escola da Escolha, created in 2000, in Recife. - PE, in Pernambuco Gymnasium by a former student of the same, who felt sensitized by the abandonment of that institution.
