RESUMO:

This work consists of a reflective analysis based on a teaching experience using the
proposal of work by project as an intervention in the teaching / learning process of
the discipline of Arts at the State School of High School Dr. Hortênsio de Sousa
Ribeiro, located in the city of Campina Large / PB. Based on the project proposal,
Patrimonial Education, considering the educational process as mediation between
cultural heritage, teaching and school and school as patrimony, based on theoretical
references published by the Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage
(IPHAN). The main foundations of the project-by-project proposal are highlighted
from the model indicated by the philosopher and educator William Kilpatrick and the
proposals reflected by the educator Fernando Hernández, both include in their
theoretical perspectives the ideas of the philosopher and educator John Dewey. The
teaching experience analyzed is the result of an intervention in the Arts classes of the
referred school, aiming to solve problems detected in the classroom related to
teaching and learning, in this way, an action research. Th is research intends to
perform an analysis in the teaching experience presented as intervention, to try to
understand the motives of the problems identified in the classroom of the participant
group and if with the didactics were solved or softened the problems, from the
activities and Results of the project. The analysis is reflected beyond the activities,
from the statements of the students involved.
