The Great Power Game: A methodological approach to theater education

This article presents a dense description that aims to make an analysis of the
practice of theater education developed by the Oppressed Theatre Center of Rio de
Janeiro (CTO), in training projects multipliers method of Theatre of the Oppressed
(TO ). It was given a specific focus, analyzing the method used by the CTO to
introduce the concept of scenography and her role in a show of Forum Theatre. For
both a description of the working method and an analysis of the steps of applying the
techniques in search of findings as the efficiency of the working method proposed by
the CTO as a collaboration to theater education was made. The study takes as its
starting point a specific game used by CTO during the performance of their
workshops, "the great power of the game", and it notes the potential of the
techniques proposed by as a way to develop a teaching job in art dialogically , playful
and efficient.
