Fuzzy-GA Vibration Control in a Cantilever Beam

In this work we seek to perform the vibration control in a cantilever beam that is subjected to a particular load and, for this purpose, it is used a fuzzy controller, whose parameters are tuned by a genetic algorithm, applied to a simulated beam. In order to accelerate the tuning process, the algorithm is implemented in a Raspberry Pi cluster for parallel processing. It is intended to find good fuzzy controller settings in a short processing time that are able to generate small vibrations on the beam when compared to the uncontrolled system, making the beam safer and more efficient.
