SUMMARY:

This work presents the simulation of 3 different methods to estimate the attitude of a satellite, TRIAD, QUEST, Extremal Seeking. To carry out the simulations, we used 5 observation vectors, 5 measurement vectors, and 5 sensor measurement noises, and the desired attitude matrix was defined. At the end of the simulations, it was possible to estimate the attitude matrix for all the chosen methods, demonstrating the efficiency of all the techniques in this process, which validated the next stage of the work, which is the implementation in hardware of the 3 methods used here.
