adolescents, criminology, feminism, marxism, drug trafficking.
The present study aims to analyze the penal control, exercised in the process of establishing the
socio-educational measure, directed to adolescents from Paraíba who participate in drug
trafficking. More specifically, investigate the main practices and legal norms that operate in the
penal control directed at these adolescents; to identify the main particularities of the penal
control exercised over these teenagers from Paraíba; and to analyze the articulations between
the foundations of the judicial processes, which sentenced the Paraíba teenagers participating
in drug trafficking, and the main criminological productions regarding the crime-woman/girl
relationship. In order to achieve the intended objectives, the construction of the objectives of
this study will be carried out in two main moments: first of all, we will carry out a
bibliographical review that undermines productions on the historical relationship between
crime and women/adolescents, as well as on trafficking and prohibitionism of drugs. In a second
moment, we focused on the analysis of the processes related to the infractions committed by
the adolescents throughout the state of Paraíba, between the years 2010 and 2020. Then, the
data obtained in the mentioned steps will be categorized and processed from of the
understandings produced in the encounters and disagreements between feminism and Marxism,
as well as with the main fundamentals of critical criminology based on historical materialism,
the theoretical and political reference used with a view to analyzing the reality of adolescent
workers in drug trafficking. With this study, we hope to deepen our understanding of the control
that is directed at these adolescents. And, in addition, we also hope to provide elements to
support the transformation of this reality, as well as, consequently, instrumentalize a critical
action by professionals in the field of Adolescence and Youth.
