Power of acting in working activity similar to slavery: a case study in the location of Carnaúba (RN).
Slave-like working activity, precarization of working activity, power of acting.
This is a research project based on ambivalence and contradiction concerning the situation of Slavery, face the contemporary idea of Freedom incorporated in international and national propositions of democratic movements, such as the International Agenda of Decent Work. It also questions the reasons why the human being, in our case under analysis, agree in being exploited. Emptied of its meaning, the slave-like activity of the subject is amputated from his power to act (Clot, 2010), being excluded from the flow of subjectivation, creativity and collective work. There is also the interest in exploring in which extent the slave labor should be considered a work. We consider here that Activity Clinics is always an investigation of a work that is lawful, socially acceptable and that is able to provoke psycho-social development. In addition, this investigation focus on the importance of professional gender. Although the arguments cited are relevant, as a criminal social practice, work analogous to slavery, in this case the production of carnauba, it is part of an economically productive activity and, by the way, very profitable, however, practiced in illegality and, therefore, it is argued in this work the existence of all the elements that can be considered in a work activity, that is, collective of workers, gender, the possibility for each worker in order to innovate. Finally, it is important to emphasize our interest in the scientific literature concerning narratives of workers concerning their working activity, especially in their post-rescue from slavery, due to the difficulty of accessing them during their work.
