Abstract: The present research project seeks to analyze how the experiences and trajectories of the female leadership of the mandate author of Law 7018/20 are related to the construction of female politics and political incidence in the construction of the urban and peri-urban agriculture agenda. Approved in March 2020, Law 7,018 is the first regulatory framework in the capital of Potiguar on agriculture in urban areas, contemplating the promotion of agroecological practices, on the principles of Solidarity Economy, aiming at less impact on the environment and sustainable production, emphasizing the debate of the rural in the urban environment. The research should contribute to the study of political representation and the formation of the agenda in public policies, in addition to promoting a historical recovery of women's organization around the theme. The work will be supported by the Political Science literature on the representation and formation of the agenda, starting from Kingdon (1995) and Pitkin (2006), but also bringing to the theoretical discussion Born (2001), Kofes (2015) and Bourdieu (1996). ).
The methodology uses Anthropology tools such as the ethnographic approach in the fieldwork carried out during the 10 sessions of public hearings for the discussion in the Natal City Council for the approval of the draft of the Master Plan. In addition, semi-structured interviews will be carried out with councilor Divaneide Basílio and her advice, to analyze the experiences and trajectories of women working in the mandate and of the councilor herself.
