RESUMO:

This work proposes an integration between scientific monitoring of macroalgae, knowledge of the fisherman and past tenses data recovery to understand the effect of anthropogenic pressures associated with tourism in reef systems. The richness of macroalgae in explored and unexplored sites evaluated for comparison purposes. In addition to primary production, we analyze the opinion of fishermen on the wealth of current fish, which enabled a comparison with data from surveys carried out in these places in the past. Sites exposed to the introduction of intensive tourism in recent decades and local underexplored were used as a model for spatial comparison. The patterns found indicated higher values of species richness of commercially important fish before the insertion of tourism, with a decline in the abundance and maximum length of important species for fishing. Trampling, overfishing and unregulated tourism practices were considered the worst threats to the balance of coralline environment. These statements were confirmed by the indices of similarity in spatial and temporal comparisons. The justification for the loss of biodiversity by fishermen increased confidence in their role as experts. Samples taken in the past exhibited a higher value in relation to species richness, complementing the information generated through the "know-how" of fishermen. Only sites where tourism is properly organized showed better conditions for the life of the fishermen. This approach has provided evidence of links between the richness of species loss and Unregulated tourism environmentally. Linked to this decline, practices that can be avoided in the future were recorded and serve as support for policies aimed at the exploitation of coralline areas are planned taking into account such impacts and effects.
