SUMMARY:

The research has as its main objective to analyze the telejournalistic narratives about homeless women, understood as a heterogeneous group of women who have no fixed address and use the streets as a place to live. The programs "Câmera Record" and "Repórter Record Investigação", both broadcast by Record TV, will be analyzed, seeking to understand how these stories are told to the public and what meanings they produce. For this, a survey of the editions produced between the years 2018 and 2022 was carried out, adding up to eleven stories, which constitute the corpus of analysis. The time period was chosen based on the problematic of the street situation, which has worsened over the years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the drop in the Human Development Index (HDI) in the country. From the combination of the methodologies of Content Analysis, based on BARDIN (2011), with Intersectional Roulette, proposed by CARRERA (2020), it is intended to categorize and analyze the reports produced by the programs specified here and identify the oppressive marks reinforced by the journalistic
discourse when dealing with historically subalternized groups.
