Based on discussions about expanded radio (KISCHINHEVSKY, 2012), podcast and storytelling, this research discusses the presence of the storytelling technique applied in narrative podcasts - contemplating strategies used for the construction of narratives. The research object consists of the fourth season of the Human Project podcast – The Evandro Case. The production presents an in-depth investigation of the murder of the kid Evandro, casting doubts on the true culprits of the crime. The journalistic series puts the true crime genre in dialogue with the storytelling format. This research does not only comprise the episodes of the podcast, but the parasonorous elements (KISCHINHEVSKY E MODESTO, 2014) that make up the encyclopedia of the Evandro Case. The research seeks to answer the question about how the production process of the storytelling technique applied to podcasts is configured, focusing on the fourth season of the Human Project - The Evandro Case and to what extent the parasonorous elements are used to compose the narrative. The theoretical basis of the study starts from the concept of podcast, discusses the composition of audio productions in storytelling format and how the parasonorous elements complement the central narrative of the podcast. The main objective of this work is to analyze the storytelling technique used in the production of the Evandro Case and how this strategy helps the narrative of this podcast. As methodological procedures, we use a multi-method approach that is based on the exploratory, descriptive and explanatory phases, and this study unfolds in the use of content analysis tools (BARDIN, 2011) and case study (YIN, 2001). It can be considered so far that O Caso Evandro fits ideally in this concept, for using the storytelling technique effectively, in addition to complementing the sound narrative with parasonorous elements.
