SUMMARY:

This study investigates the production of content with a progressive bias and the use of performative elements in these productions, as media catalysts for a process of political formation and the construction of a counter-hegemonic movement in the digital environment. As a central element, the research will investigate the Drag Queen Rita Von Hunty (character of the teacher and actor Guilherme Terreri) and her YouTube channel, Tempero Drag. The course of the research will seek to understand, firstly, the production of content on the channel and how the performative elements are arranged on the screen, mapping them and understanding their sensitive effects and seeking to observe how the presence of Rita Von Hunty signals and, possibly, leads a left progressive movement on digital platforms and with its performativity allows an infiltration in traditional media creating scenes of dissent in the hegemonic discourse. In a transmethodological process, the research will hybridize three analysis methods widely used in the human and social sciences: Content Analysis, Resistance Methodology and Netnography, to build a new methodological proposal, the Infiltrate Body Methodology, which develops analytical categories and a chronological path and tactical investigation of the media disposition of individuals and/or their communicational productions. It is intended, from the research, to demonstrate how the union of political ideals and theoretical basis, when combined with performative actions and imbued with an audible and visible practice, contribute as an integral part of a popular process of political formation through communication.
