This dissertation aims to identify the features of mediatic narratives constructed by digital influencers from Natal (RN), on Instagram, through the mediatization of their life histories. Our main hypothesis is built on the self-narratives, written by these mediatic subjects on the Stories from the same social media. In our theoretical research, the matter of life history (PINEAU; LE GRAND, 2012) is surrounded by the Communications field, through the visions of mediatized self-narratives mediatized (ESCOSTEGUY, 2011). However, crossings were made through discussion about social media (RECUERO, 2018; RECUERO; BASTOS; ZAGO, 2020), digital influence (KARHAWI, 2020), and mediatization (SODRÉ, 2002, 2014, 2021; HJARVARD, 2015; HEPP, 2014; COULDRY; HEPP, 2020). Our methodology structure was built from an ethnographic inspiration (FRAGOSO; RECUERO; AMARAL, 2011), assisted by direct observation and field diary, and our data analysis was supported by the Pragmatic Analysis of Narrative (MOTTA, 2013). As preliminary results of our investigation are the constitution of three functions of self-narrative: a) to the advertising; b) to the sharing of life; c) to the maintenance of flowing themes; also, we observed the episodic construction of real-life through the sequential and temporal tool the Stories, as well as the creation of “characters of the self” by digital influencers in Natal (RN).
