SUMMARY:

The first idea of city present, made image, in my memory is a concrete layout that is discovered between streets, alleys, lanes, corners, walls that protect and expose the subjects and their crossings (DE CERTEAU, 1998; FERRARA, 2015). But the true dynamics of everyday life today presents us every day with an idea of city that instead of being the reverse of the other, is an extension (DI FELICE, 2009; LEMOS, 2009). It is nurtured in an infinite dimension that goes from the city to the digital social networks, in a path called, here in this paper, "imaginary crossings of streets-digital social networks" and that is made possible by the protagonism that the image of urban art exerts in our minds, and in many of the symbolic contexts - social, cultural, affective - that surround us, by placing us before image-messages defined here as "political-poetic narratives" (ARENDT, 2002; BACHELARD, 1978). In view of this, we dialogue with authors about the insertion of graffiti panels exposed on the street, considering its physical-digital extension, from a discussion involving the subjects and the images that affect them within scenarios that become spaces of urban legibility and places of memory (FLUSSER; 1985; HALBWACHS, 1990; NORA, 1984). To this end, through an ethnographic methodological perspective, guided by a dense description (GEERTZ, 1978), we created a field notebook to describe walking routes through street art expressions. Thus, we experimented and analyzed five urban landscapes, in the city of Fortaleza, where there is graffiti wall, discussing the relationship between the symbolic forms present in artistic expressions and the spaces that become scenarios of open-air exhibition, worldwide (DIÓGENES, 2015; CAMPOS, 2007).
