SUMMARY:

Part of unequal observation at the last census of the IBGE and the almost complete exclusion of the largest identity group - the academies to the screen. This dissertation considers that the Latin American and Brazilian racism were brought to the colonization and intends to legitimize the enslavement of black and indigenous people (Dijk, 2008). It punctuates the erasure and silencing that subordinates thousands of subjects (Gayatri Spivak, 2010; Djamila Ribeiro, 2017; Ângela Davis, 2016; Grada Kilomba, 2019; bell hooks, 2013 and 2019; Patrícia Hill Collins, 2000). It points out the participation of women in cinema as essential to the achievement of an anti-racist and anti-sexist society.
