The senses of the trade union press: the speech of Sindsaúde/RN about the private management of SUS in Natal
Communication; trade union press; speech analysis; SUS.
This dissertation has as main objective to identify and analyze the meanings produced by the press of Sindsáude/RN, focusing on union discursive confrontations related to the private management of SUS in Natal, between 2010-2012. From an analysis of printed newspaper stories SindNotícias and Impaciente, we seek to distinguish the ideological and discursive formations, as well as the conditions of production, which constitute the union discourse in the dispute for symbolic representation about Social Organizations in public health. This work articulates the theoretical contributions of union communication in Giannotti (1997, 2004, 2014), Costa (2010) and Ferreira (1978, 1995), elaborations of Discourse Analysis of the French line, mainly Pêcheux (1988) and Orlandi (1999, 2007), and the contributions of Foucault (1996, 2012) and Bourdieu (2000).
