RESUMO:

Abstract: The concepts of mediation and mediatization are useful to think about the experience of women during pregnancy, giving birth and maternal today. We are interested in this study to investigate how this process of seeking information and creating networks of affection on the Internet and social media takes place to better understand the marks that the media leave in the reports about the experience of pregnant women and mothers. To understand these relationships, the concepts of mediation and mediation of Barbero (2003) will be used, with the contribution of Lopes (2014) and Braga (2012), among others that also deal with the theme. In addition to ethnographic observation (Geertz, 1989) of groups of pregnant women and mothers of Natal (RN), in meetings over six months, in-depth interviews were conducted with three women to observe how the themes are reported using the methodology of oral history (MAIA, 2006).
