RESUMO:

This thesis analyzes the conversations established in the comment space of the magazines Veja and Carta Capital on the social networking site Facebook during the years of 2015 and 2016, considering the scenario of Brazilian political and economic crisis and looking at the sociabilities forged in this context and the emotions that are reverberated by the symbolic exchanges carried out in the network. In order to do so, the assumptions of the Ethnomethodology and its approach on the Analysis of the Conversation are used, in order to understand the cultural methods used by the commentators to support the practice of the conversation and meaning to their positions. The results indicate the predominance of the sociability of the conflict in the engendered conversations, which are mainly based on the factors that compose the Brazilian political and economic crisis, being the presence of controversial emotions in the fabric and production of their senses, anger, hatred and resentment, elements that point to inconsistencies with meanings representative of Brazilian society as being cheerful, warm and welcoming. The emergence of a particular sociocultural grammar to deal with current events and their reflections on social relations - the intensification of conflict and the irruption of senses and horizons of morality and justice - is an aspect that indicates transformations around the forms of conviviality in contemporary Brazil.
