METHODOLOGY OF RESISTANCE: Perspectives for a rationality of praxis in communicative citizenship
Resistance methodology. Communicative citizenship. Social practices and media visibility. Collective resistance. Epistemology of science
The investigation approaches the proposal of a methodology of resistance from the communicative citizenship as a social practice of the subjects, having as field of investigation the resistance effected in the collective Lagoas do Norte, for whom? in Teresina, Piauí (Brazil). Resistance is emphasized as processes of social contestation where subjects in conditions of inequality and exclusion act to produce visibility, search for rights and conditions of existence. The systematization of the methodology is articulated from the point of view of citizen praxis and resulting from transmethological movements (MALDONADO, 2006). Theoretical-systematic research, bibliometric research, research by research, empirical research with direct observation, interviews, field diary, participation in the resistance movement were the paths covered for the understanding of a rationality of praxis in communicative citizenship that could architect the methodology of resistance as a general objective of this thesis. Bibliometric research is carried out in scientific databases in Ibero-America, in the area of communication in interface with citizenship. The observations derived from this analysis trigger a reflection based on the qualitative research by research (BONIN, 2011). These methodological decisions reconciled with the theoretical aspects of communicative citizenship worked in Maldonado (2006, 2011, 2012), Mata (2005) and Camacho Azurduy (2005) are structured for the proposition of a resistance methodology that can be an agent in real concrete. These observations on methodology add knowledge to an understanding of scientific research that aims to suggest analytical methodological categories, such as: understanding communicative and social practices from communicative citizenship and perceiving resistance tactics. Empirical research systematizes ten communicative resistance practices articulated by the collective Lagoas do Norte, for whom? reverberating in complex processes of media visibility and production of communicative citizenship in non-hegemonic devices. The proposed methodology of resistance articulated from these decisions is figuratively structured as the metaphor of a body. It consists of five parts, called methodological resistance figures - head (resistance), face (visibility), arms (interfaces and communication media), trunk (collective), legs (community research), which present meaning in isolation but are structured together reiterating the notion of communicative citizenship as praxis, founded on a rationality of the subjects in resistance. The proposed methodology is not intended to mimic methodological schemes, but rather to stress them to processes of understanding communication that are denser, and that do not distance themselves from social reality, from those that traditionally do not produce scientific knowledge. Thus, leading to an understanding of communicative citizenship as a praxis that provides emancipatory processes.
