RESUMO:

The research intends to analyze how TV Globo's highest rated television programs - rated as the third
 largest commercial broadcaster in the world and the largest TV in Latin America - and Inter TV 
Cabugi have appropriated the transmedia narrative to broaden their informational content of the 
screen from TV to social networks, specifically Facebook and Instagram. Considering that TV and the
 internet are the most used media by the Brazilian population, research is justified since the current 
convergence media scenario poses a series of challenges for traditional media. One is to find ways to
 live with and compete with so-called new media. For the study are edited and edited the National 
Journal, Jornal Hoje, Bom Dia RN and RNTV 2nd edition, in the period from August 14 to 19, 2017. 
In this research, the theoretical basis is based on authors such as such as Bourdieu (1997), Fechine 
(2013), Jenkins (2003; 2009), Moloney (2011; 2015) and Scolary (2011; 2013). As for the 
methodology, content analysis is used and, in relation to the method of procedure, the principles of 
the transmediate narrative, listed by Gambarato (2013; 2016), have been used, to the editions and 
the postings of the referred news programs.
