RESUMO:

 This study is about the use of images from the culture industry as tattoos in Pipa Beach in Tibau do Sul, Rio Grande do Norte. The aim of this research is to discuss the tattooed body as an interaction device in co-presence. Also, to map its logic and codes, as well as its rules and triggers from the report of four residents of this locality that tattooed those kinds of image. We conducted an empirical observation in a tattoo shop, between the months of July and August . This work is divided into and it aims to be a projection of the dissertation, which will be defended in February 2017. The first part of the text presents the problems of research, objectives, hypotheses and research justifications. The second part presents a brief overview of the location where the study was conducted, the methodological approach chosen to carry out the field work, and the theoretical basis on which the empirical and theoretical objects of the research were defined. The ideas presented here are based mainly on the works of Le Breton (2007), Canevacci (2008), Braga (2011), Goffman (2012), Giddens (2003) and Lipovetsky (2007) and aims to deepen the  understanding of social interactions in this locality and are established in the daily lives of the residents of Pipa, which are triggered by bodies tattooed with images of products from the cultural industry.
