Introduction: Wearable technologies have become an important topic in the health technology area for monitoring and storing health-related data. With advances in wireless sensor technology and the way in which the data are obtained and transmitted by these sensors, remote monitoring, in real time or not, of a variety of health data relating to an individual has become possible. Objective: To present the development of an integrated set of applications in wearable technologies, through embedded sensors, for remote monitoring of elderly health and functionality. Methods: The development of the desired technological solution is being carried out by the Center for Strategic Health Technology (NUTES), located at the State University of Paraíba (UEPB), which has a team of developers with experience in research based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). For the project management and the elaboration of the idea, we follow the agile development method through the Scrum methodology. Expected results: At the end of this study, the articles produced about the proposed applications and algorithms in this technological solution will be presented.
