SUMMARY:

The gender violence affects women from all social classes, races and sexual orientations. In Brazil, it is lethal especially in the black woman case. In the face of growing violence, comes up the necessity of reflection about gender and race violence through realization of an implementation’s evaluation of the Specialized Police Station for Women in the city of Natal – RN. The research has as general objective evaluate the implementation of the Specialized Police Station for Women in black women perspective as users of this public policy. The specific objectives are analyze the institutional design of the public policy Specialized Police Station for Women; evaluate the host of the black women in the Police Station and study the implementation of the Specialized Police Station for Women in the black women perspective in the city of Natal – RN. It is an afro-descendant research, qualitative and it has as main methodological procedure semi structured interviews with Police Station professionals, black women who were users of this service and militant black women.
