SUMMARY:

The present work aims to analyze the main bills drafted by the Evangelical Parliamentary Front from a constitutional point of view and from a democratic state, as well as some speeches made by this same front. Furthermore, the aim was to problematize the question about the insertion of values considered strictly religious into the political environment and debate. To do this, it became essential to analyze the context and the political discourse of the parliamentarians defending these projects with the intention of considering and analyzing the real objectives that they intend to defend even under the aegis of a disguised the origin of the discourse, considering the mutation of the actions within in the congress over time. It was observed a modification of the speech of the parliamentarians that make up this front, in an attempt to bring more seriousness or scientificity, trying to give a laic and natural appearance to this speeches, in order to mask the prejudice, chauvinism and homophobia which surround this bill’s projects. Nor can ignore the possible consequences of passing bills like these which aim to collaborate with the perpetuation of a conservative discourse within contemporary society as they defend a concept of outdated family which does not correspond to the needs of society, and moreover, reinforces an agenda that leads to hatred and intolerance.
