SUMMARY:

On the street we don't just learn where they can take us, where they go and where these streets come from. The soul of the street hides multiple possibilities of self-observation, self-description and self-knowledge from the experiences expressed in modus vivendi. I ts concreteness feeds our capacity for imagination, daydreaming and self-organizing ourselves by our lost steps as it self-organizes itself. This thesis has as its theme, live to survive and live to live, and as object, educations and self-knowledge of homeless people. It is a text that seeks to problematize and wonder how the search to survive to live (in a street situation) constitutes educability and self-knowledge. T hrough a web of methodological (ethnographic) strategies, the objective is to know the multiple survival strategies for living (in a homeless situation) by understanding that living for a living (in a homeless situation) makes it necessary to develop a dynamic network of strategies to remain in this concreteness. In this line of thought, the heterogeneous set of educational sociability developed in the streets is perceived as an anthropological space of educability. And, finally, it identifies the various experiences that the street allows to self-observe, self-describe and self-know in order to think this street with a space prone to develop multiple experiences of teaching and learning. Through the experiences of homeless people in Mossoró (RN), it is necessary to understand the street as an anthropological space of educability, feeding the hypothesis that the street produces new references of teaching and learning. In this sense, these residents present themselves as subjects of experience, other conceptions, other pedagogies and other productions of (self) knowledge. Unfinished subjects in the constant quest to be more and to survive for a living. Subjects of hope.
