RESUMO:

This work has its as object the memes, that is to say, a notorious phenomenon of the internet, famous for its attractive dress, though constituted by a language rejected by the logical thought. They refer to memories that, being marked enough, are replicate, or rather, published, liked, twitted and retwitted creatively in virtual social networks, and are also due to the overproduction of images of the society of transparency. In this society, everything is measured by its expository value, so, everything is potentially registrable and susceptible and likely to become meme, once the digital hunters find news channels of meanings. Our study thus turn around to a type of connection established by internet, by human, by machines, in addition being moved by ideas, thoughts and conceptions that interweave minds and screens. Under such a focus, the aim is to investigate the particularities of the propagation of memes in cyberspace, since they represent forms of expressions inherent digital society, therefore, studying them is of paramount importance to think about the new forms of collective existence, technologies and innovations of contemporary society. In order to carry out this analysis, we selected as main thematic delimitation, the vote in chamber deputies that culminated in the impeachment process of president Dilma Rousseff, thus, intending to elaborate a more satisfactory definition for our object and to apprehend its logic, we use as theoretical basis the concepts of imitation (Gabriel Tarde) and network (Bruno Latour). Therefore, we seek to trace clues to our object from its own motion, with special emphasis on its ability to be replicated.
